Viraj V Shetty
Founder & Principal Consultant
With 18 years of seafaring experience culminating as a Chief Engineer (MCA UK Class 1) on next-generation dual-fuel vessels Viraj brings rare, firsthand technical insight from the sea to the shore. Having been part of the damage and repair assessment for Stena Immaculate with Stena Teknik, and served as Superintendent across the Stena–Crowley JV fleet with Northern Marine, he recognised a critical industry reality: the vessel knows instantly, but the shore finds out too late.
He founded DSR Global Solutions to close that operational divide from the ship’s perspective, personally leading every engagement. Combining seasoned maritime engineering with strategic founder training from the Gen A Bootcamp (a year-long weekend program at Sadhguru Academy), Viraj bridges the gap between onboard realities and executive decision-making.

Aniket Mallav
Chief Engineer
Aniket is a Chief Engineer with a B.S. in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from BITS Pilani, and 19 years with Northern Marine Group rising from Junior Engineer in 2007 through Second Engineer to Chief Engineer Officer in 2019. He was the Chief Engineer aboard Stena Immaculate during salvage operations and discharging of the jet fuel during the incident off Great Yarmouth. He has sailed on oil, product and chemical tankers worldwide, and is well placed to conduct investigations across all types of deep-sea vessels, having handled day-to-day operations, technical issues, maintenance, and safety including several dry dockings.
Mahendra Karania
Chief Engineer
Mahendra is a Chief Engineer with a B.S. in Marine Engineering from Tolani Maritime Institute and an Indian Chief Engineer Officer’s certificate of competency. He was involved in the damage and repair assessment for Stena Immaculate at Great Yarmouth, carrying out preservation preparations for the dead tow. He has sailed oil and chemical tankers, product carriers and VLCCs, working across MC, MCC and ME plant, and has taken vessels through dry docking, major under-hull and machinery repairs, and retrofits of exhaust gas scrubber and ballast water treatment systems. He also spent two years ashore as Marine Quality Assurance Team Lead for ExxonMobil, screening close to a thousand vessels worldwide and reviewing operator incident investigations, and is an IRCA-certified ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor.
Mahesh G Yadav
Electro-Technical Officer
Mahesh is an Electro-Technical Officer with a degree in Electrical Engineering, seventeen years at sea on product and chemical tankers, Suezmaxes and VLCCs, and a further ten years ashore in chemical and petrochemical plant. He maintains switchboards and ships' power plant, cargo gas plant and deepwell pumps, instrumentation, and alarm and automation systems including Kongsberg K-Chief 500 and AutoChief, and has worked on Wärtsilä RT-flex and MAN B&W electronic engines. He holds an Indian Electro-Technical Officer's certificate of competency and served on the sea trial team at Guangzhou Shipyard for the delivery of two new tankers.
Nalin Shanavas
Electro-Technical Officer
Nalin is an Electro-Technical Officer with eight years at sea in the oil and gas trades. With a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and high-voltage certification, he maintains advanced electrical systems, high-voltage power and electric propulsion across LNG carriers, crude and chemical tankers, DFDE plant and methanol-fuelled vessels operating under the IGF Code. He holds a TÜV certification in PLC and SCADA programming alongside a post-graduate diploma in industrial automation, and has taken four vessels through dry dock.
Rahul Pathania
Master Mariner
Rahul is a Master Mariner serving with Northern Marine Management Limited, holding a Class I Master (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency, MCA UK, with exceptional operational expertise in crude, product and chemical cargoes. He started his career as a cadet in 2008 and was promoted to Master in 2025. He was part of the damage and repair assessment team led by Stena Teknik at Great Yarmouth, central to the salvage effort, discharging the jet fuel cargo, coordinating the damage and repair assessment, preparing for towage, and overseeing her transit to Turkey. He was in command during the towage and docking at Turkey, and brings strong competency across navigation, cargo, and structural audits.

Anusha Shetty
Software & Operation Lead, M.Tech
ARCHITECTURE · CYBERSECURITY
Anusha is a multidisciplinary engineer leading software architecture and development for LogBridge. She holds a B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering and is pursuing an M.Tech in Cybersecurity at NMAMIT, Nitte University (expected 2027), alongside 7+ years across semiconductor and DevSecOps engineering at Infineon Technologies and Synopsys. She is CNDS-certified (Cisco Networking Academy) and is currently researching quantum autoencoders for zero-day intrusion detection. Her work on LogBridge spans automation, secure development, and cross-team engineering delivery.
Kruthika B
Cybersecurity Engineer
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
Kruthika is a Cybersecurity Engineer pursuing an M.Tech in Cybersecurity at NMAMIT, Nitte. Her thesis work involves an Adaptive Harmony Search Optimization-based intrusion detection system, achieving 99.96% classification accuracy across a 9.1-million-record network traffic dataset. She holds a Network Defense certification from Cisco Networking Academy and has built secure systems including a password encryption and decryption platform using cryptographic techniques.
Shreya Nag R C
Cybersecurity Engineer
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
Shreya is a Cybersecurity Engineer pursuing an M.Tech in Cyber Security at NMAMIT, Nitte, researching polymorphic and metamorphic malware detection using deep learning models. She previously built a facial recognition-based bank transaction authentication system using CNNs and classical ML, and holds a CNDS (Certified Network Defense Specialist) credential from Cisco Networking Academy.
Sharan S Shetty

FIELD TESTING
Sharan is an AI/ML Engineer with expertise in NLP, RAG, computer vision, and deep learning. He built a multimodal OCR and RAG document retrieval system using FAISS and TensorFlow, and a real-time CNN-based hand sign recognition model. He also has hands-on experience in AWS cloud development, having built and deployed serverless applications during an internship at IHub IT Solutions.

Rashmitha brings a clinical nursing background: BSc Nursing from Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, currently pursuing the MAHE–University of New Brunswick dual-degree nursing program to DSR’s approach to team wellbeing. She conducts weekly one-on-ones with team members on diet, sleep, and exercise patterns, tracking physical and emotional wellbeing alongside the team’s operational work.
